Bold, whimsical and unconventionally elegant, FRIESENGUYS was born with the idea of creating a truly androgynous look. The label began by attempting to create menswear but working in reverse, using elements of womenswear as a base. The label has evolved to into a new-wave of "elegant-cute-ness."

Rebellious in spirit, yet sophisticated in cut, our collections reflects our tailoring and pure pattern cutting technique. The label combines unusual fabric combinations, clash prints and surprising surface decorations. 

FRIESENGUYS fosters an inclusive cultural identity through clothing by inspired by Malaysian society. 

Fashion as a fantasy, but based on reality. Each collection aims to tell a story that is of the moment.

Designer Bio

Armed with a strong penchant for the arts, Edie Chung started out in fashion design before majoring in English Literature and Theatre Studies. The Friesenguys label started in the designer's bedroom as an outlet of creative expression and soon culminated in an unexpected return to fashion.
